Consultation: Ten hours of consultation are required in order to complete the training. With this curriculum, the consultation hours are built into the training scheduled and provided during the dates listed above.

TRAINING OVERVIEW

This EMDR Training is designed for licensed mental health professionals who work in a clinical setting. The training meets EMDRIA requirements and includes lectures, demonstrations, and supervised practice.

This basic training in EMDR begins with a focus on the use of methods of stabilization and specific ways of assessing readiness for EMDR memory reprocessing. There are four training modules presented over a twelve-week period. These two-day periods of training provide paced development of procedural skills, a review of essential concepts, and in-depth consultation regarding initial practice experiences.
