Stephen Dansiger, PsyD, MFT describes the MET(T)A Protocol (Mindfulness and EMDR Treatment Template for Addictions) in the Spring 2021 issue of Go With That magazine. The MET(T) A name refers to the “Meta” use of the 8-phase protocol and the Adaptive Information Processing model to run all clinical and non-clinical operations, and “Metta,” which translates as “loving-kindness,” a key teaching in Buddhist mindfulness that also guides the work of the agency.
