Once declared, the Consultant in Training (CIT) begins working toward becoming an EMDRIA Approved Consultant. Approved Consultant status is an additional credential you can earn after obtaining EMDRIA certification. The Approved Consultant credential is for experienced clinicians who are interesting in teaching, leading, and mentoring in the field of EMDR.
