From Bonding to Attachment with the Calming Womb Family Therapy Model

The Calming Womb Family Therapy Model (CWFTM) is a comprehensive, collaborative, early intervention approach intended for treating mothers and their babies from conception through the first year after birth and beyond. This model builds a strong early bond between mother and child from the point of conception, which nurtures secure post-birth infant attachment.

The integration of EMDR therapy with the CMFTM can improve inner resources for pregnant mothers, monitor their level of psychological stress, and enable them to access and process traumatic memories and bring them to adaptive resolution.
