Counselor’s Corner on Race Identity and NCs
In the Counselor’s Corner column, EMDR therapists respond to “Many of us have been modifying and studying how to adapt our standard history, adding questions for marginalized populations. The standard EMDR NC list sometimes lacks cultural humility or else must be used appropriately with oppression in mind. …We want to open up further discussion and hear about your history-taking questions and what you think of these race identity and culture NCs.”
