About Me
In my practice, I work with people, 18 & over, providing individual and group therapy. Trauma occurs when our ability to cope with any given situation or event has been overwhelmed. This can have a lasting impact, from negative beliefs about ourselves to substance abuse to anxiety and beyond. I specialize in resolving past experiences of trauma and gaining insight into self. Sometimes we can’t pinpoint why we are struggling, we just know that something needs to be different. I am here to walk with you through this process, assisting you in reaching your goals and finding peace. I commonly address addiction, anxiety & mood disorders, and low self-esteem in my practice, taking a special interest in these areas. I utilize a variety of interventions depending on my clients’ needs, but my great loves are EMDR, IFS, CBT, and mindfulness. What lights me up about my work is the opportunity to be with my clients as they get curious about what makes them tick and find an appreciation for their uniqueness. It is my hope that all of my clients not only find relief, but also greater acceptance and connectedness with self.
Education & Experience
