About Me
Sometimes life can become difficult to navigate and can even seem overwhelming at times. Seeking counseling is a positive first step in working to overcome the obstacles that life throws in our paths. In a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment, I will help you recognize, celebrate, and build upon your strengths while exploring issues and behaviors that you wish to alter. Through therapy, you will get to know yourself better, understand your past, and set goals for the future. We will work together to develop healthy, more effective coping strategies to increase resiliency and promote change. With increased self-awareness and empowerment, we will challenge restrictive, limiting beliefs and behaviors as we work toward healing, wholeness, and happiness. My therapeutic approach is person- centered while integrating various other therapies such as EMDR to best meet your immediate and long-term goals. Together we can make a difference in your life, and I look forward to the privilege of working with you.
