Dr. Erika Ann Flores, Psy.D., LMFT, PPSC
About Me
I have a passion for psychology-- whether it is supporting others, teaching, or a casual conversation, it is certainly my area of expertise. In 2013, I received my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, with a Minor in Gender and Sexuality Studies. Two years later, I obtained my Master's Degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Clinical Counseling and am now a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT). I received my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) in 2018, and also have a Pupil Personnel Services Credential (PPSC) in School Counseling. Currently, I work with Global Teletherapy as a Lead Mental Health Therapist; I provide therapeutic Services to kiddos virtually, as well as supervise practicing therapists. I implement mindfulness, self-compassion, and often practice using a Person-Centered approach. Furthermore, I serve as an Adjunct Professor of Psychology for undergraduate and graduate students at California Baptist University (Online & Professional Studies), as well as California State University, San Bernardino. My teaching style is supportive, empathic, and student-centered. I also enjoy and have much experience in editing dissertations, research papers, and articles. I am open to new opportunities and seek additional work in the summer. My overall goal is to continue to teach Psychology courses for undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral level students; I also plan to remain conducting Teletherapy for K-12 students, as this type of work is very near and dear to my heart. I look forward to continuing to learn. There is no such thing as a finished counselor/professor!
