About Me

As a therapist, I consider it a tremendous privilege to meet you where you are and be a part of your journey of discovery and healing. Traumatic events or living under a set of difficult conditions can affect how you think about yourself, others, and the world around you. EMDR is an effective way to understand those beliefs, their origins, and allows you to discover more adaptive ways of looking at what has happened to you. I create a collaborative, kind, sometimes confronting, client-centered approach to achieving connection with yourself and others. I love to facilitate insight and to incorporate tangible skills as part of my work with adults and couples. I recognize the need to incorporate your unique values and experience into the counseling process. I am EMDR trained and have completed Level 1 and 2 of Gottman Couples Method.
