About Me

Outwardly you are successful, but inwardly you are struggling. You know deep down it is affecting your relationships. You just want to feel better about yourself and where you are at in life, but you don’t know quite how to get there. You struggle to even begin to picture that things could be different. If this sounds like you, we should talk. Most of the women I work with begin therapy wanting something different, but feeling like it is impossible to get there. I am here to tell you that it is ABSOLUTELY possible to feel the freedom you dream of. To feel released from that past baggage you’ve been carrying for so long, to have confidence in areas outside of just work, to have work-life balance, to have thriving, good relationships. How do I know it’s possible? Because I’ve seen it happen. I do this work because really at the end of the day, I believe in people. It is the honor of my life to be with women as they heal from things they never even dreamed they could be free of. I am a trauma-informed counselor who uses various effective & research-backed modalities to support my clients as they move from their past to create the future they want. Healing is possible, and the hardest part of deciding to look for counselors is already done. The rest of it- you don’t have to do alone. Education & Experience

As a therapist, and more importantly a human being, I know that life is not perfect. Therapy is not about judging it is about supporting- and working together to move you to a place where you can thrive. In sessions, I will talk to you authentically, and collaboratively. I tend to incorporate creativity into sessions if you are up for it. Also, some of my clients opt to bring their families or partners into sessions at different points. This can be really helpful in connecting with one another, and your loved ones understanding you and your needs. Approaches rooted in neuroscience, parts work, systemic work from couples and family therapy, and EMDR ( a research-backed modality that has been helpful to many people in overcoming devastating circumstances by supporting the natural tendency of the brain towards healing when given the right circumstances) are tools we may tap into! I also integrate aspects of my training in Emotion-Focused Family Therapy and care deeply about combining the world of couples and family therapy, with the world of trauma and attachment trauma to create an approach of trauma-informed systemic therapy. Ultimately, our work is about YOU. But one thing you should know about me is that there is not a chair I ask a client to sit in that I have not sat in myself, whether it is work as an individual, a partner, or a member of a family. Counseling is not easy, but it is good, and I am so honored to guide others in experiencing healing, growth, and freedom, as others have guided me.
