About Me

Pam is a Certified Canadian Counsellor. She holds a Master’s degree in Counselling and takes an integrative, client-centered approach, utilizing empirically supported treatments to assist her clients in their recovery from mental health issues. Pam draws from an integrative evidence-based approach, utilizing a cognitive behavioural approach (CBT) as a foundation alongside somatic interventions, EMDR, and mindfulness. Pam prioritizes a safe and supportive therapeutic environment that is empathetic, caring and compassionate. Her mission is to assist clients in realizing their goals and recognizing their strengths. Alongside individual, family and couples counselling, Pam provides psychoeducation classes in group settings and is currently a MBSR facilitator in training for the well respected Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction program founded by Jon Kabat Zinn.
