About Me

Unlocking Transformation and Healing: Your Journey Starts Here Welcome to Wise Way Counseling & Consulting, where we are dedicated to guiding high-achieving professionals on their journey to transformation. As an experienced and licensed mental health counselor, I offer a comprehensive range of services aimed at providing the support, stability, and opportunities for personal growth that you deserve. Our core focus is on EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy, a well-established and evidence-based approach known for its ability to rewire the brain. EMDR helps reduce impulses, alleviate avoidant behaviors, and minimize anxiety and PTSD symptoms. Whether you're navigating recent trauma, complex PTSD, or struggling with addiction, our EMDR services are expertly tailored to address your unique needs. We understand that high-achieving professionals often have demanding schedules, which is why we proudly offer EMDR Intensives. These tailored intensives can be personalized for individuals, groups, or agency staff, providing a faster path to healing while respecting your busy work-life balance. In addition to individual and group therapy, I am also an EMDRIA Approved Consultant in Training. This means that I am equipped to offer EMDR Individual Consultation and EMDR Group Consultation, specifically designed for EMDR clinicians who are working towards certification. The goal of these consultations is to enhance your understanding of EMDR, boost your confidence and competence, and equip you with the skills necessary to apply EMDR effectively, especially when working with first responders and healthcare professionals. Our approach is holistic, recognizing the interplay between mental health and addiction. We provide a comprehensive pathway to well-being, ensuring that when you choose Wise Way Counseling & Consulting, you are embarking on a transformative journey towards healing and personal growth. Your path to transformation begins with a simple step. Call us today at (406) 201-9353. We are here to listen, guide, and support you as you take the first steps towards a brighter, more fulfilling future."

Education & Experience

With my extensive experience and specialized EMDR training, I provide a critical service known as EMDR Emergency Response Triage. This is designed to offer immediate support and stabilization to individuals in the community, including first responders and healthcare professionals, who have recently experienced a traumatic event. Whether it's a car accident, being a victim of a crime, or facing a disaster like a flood or violence, I'm here to help. Many of these individuals find themselves unable to sleep, haunted by intrusive thoughts or memories that replay like a never-ending movie. My EMDR Emergency Response Triage is aimed at preventing or reducing symptoms of PTSD and ongoing traumatic stress, especially in those who have faced COVID-related traumas, including healthcare professionals, nurses, first responders, police officers, firefighters, dispatchers, teachers, students, schools, and healthcare facilities. I offer this service in various settings, whether it's in a group format, on-site, or at a location convenient for you. If you're interested in learning more about how I can assist you or someone you know, please don't hesitate to call me at (406) 201-9353. Additionally, as a certified EMDR therapist, I am well-versed in EMDR DeTUR and Connecting the Consequences, which I use to address addictions and self-destructive behaviors, helping individuals overcome their urges and impulses. With over 17 years of experience in both correctional and community settings, I have guided people towards healing from past trauma, enabling them to build the lives they desire. My expertise also extends to Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), which I've been specialized in for 15 years, prior to focusing on offering more EMDR services to the community. I hold a Master's in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling, which I earned in 2011, and a Bachelor's of Science in Human Services from Montana State University-Billings in 2006. Your journey towards healing and growth begins here.
