When Play Therapists complete training in EMDR therapy, they may struggle integrate EMDR into their current play therapy work and are often looking for ways to merge the two theories and remain developmentally appropriate. This workshop will help clinicians integrate the Play Therapy principles with EMDR and AIP theory to increase the assurance of the play therapist to incorporate EMDR therapy in a play therapy setting. It is suitable for children to learn through tactile/kinesthetic or full body movement and play. Consequently, the integration of play therapy and EMDR therapy is an important component of effective treatment for children. This experiential training will incorporate play therapy and EMDR techniques and play therapy and EMDR case examples.
